Domain Authority by Moz Data Service

The authority of a domain is best estimated by Moz data service, which will tell you how well a website will perform in search engines. Moz calculated values are best used as guides in judging the performance of your website competing with similar websites for Google Search Engine Page Results (SERP) rankings. The SERP traffic is composed of people physically typing keywords into the Google input box and are presented with a list of the best potential matches of websites that may have the information of what people intend to be looking for.

Moz data service combines the strength of your domain, through the Domain Authority (DA) metric, with other metrics such as the total number of links and the Page Authority (PA) metric to determine how powerful your website may be at any period. The Moz data service has employed machines working against Google algorithms to best display how other search engines besides Google are presenting results while assigning DA.

Around 40 signals are calculated as DA and PA report values. The site authority is measured on a scale of 100 points. Sites with point values around 10 or 20 are not very good authority scores. Domain scores ranking in the 90s are great, high ranking scores.

  • SS - Spam Score is the percentage value of spam emails associated with your domain, lower is better
  • OS - On/Off Page is all factors calculated into one the percentage value for SEO, higher is better
  • AGE - Age of Website Domain tracked and recorded by days and years
